Joseph L. Brown
Founding Partner
Joseph L. Brown, Esq. is one of Accident Law Group’s founding partners. Mr. Brown focuses his practice on personal injury. As a former insurance adjuster, he understands firsthand how the insurance company can and will take advantage of those unrepresented or who are represented ineffectively. Oftentimes, Joseph can anticipate the insurance company’s angle before they even assign the adjuster.
Carl Engstrand
Founding Partner
Carl became a founding partner at Accident Law Group to solve one of the biggest problems confronting clients in the legal market: client access to their attorney. Carl observed client dissatisfaction with not having access to quality legal advice and decided to take action in founding a firm that puts clients face to face with their attorney. Carl focuses not only on quality legal representation, but also bringing an empathetic and understanding nature to guiding clients through the legal process.
Robert W. Shely
Partner
Robert W. Shely (“Bob”) is a partner at Accident Law Group as well as the firm’s Litigation Department Head. Before joining the ALG ranks, he spent nearly 32 years as a litigator and trial lawyer at a major international law firm, Bryan Cave, LLP, which he joined straight out of law school in 1985. In that capacity, Mr. Shely devoted the bulk of his practice to defending insurance companies, tire manufactures, large corporate clients (including Fortune 500 and 100 companies,) large institutional banks, and manufactures in all manner of tort, products liability, contract and civil disputes.
